Akshay breaks Khan monopoly

The actor is all set to double his rate

Now, this is news which might make your eyes pop out. It seems Akshay Kumar has just completed a film for Anees Bazmee called Welcome. His leading lady is none other than Katrina Kaif. Now Katrina and Akshay’s market value has soared in recent times thanks to Partner and Heyy Babyy. So the film, which was made in a budget of around 25 crore has sold for a record sum of Rs 69 crore. Which means Welcome has recorded greater profit than even Om Shanti Om.

Now a little birdie told us Akshay is so happy with this development he has decided to hike his rate from the current rate of 12 crore to 25 crore. If that happens SRK will also hike his rates to the tune of something like 40 crore. Well all I can hope is that the income-tax people authorities aren’t reading this.
