Is Amrita Rao's mum overprotective?

You may remember Bindu playing a star mother in Om Shanti Om and laughing over her character. It's all fun and games if you are sitting in the audience seat. But try stepping into the shoes of a producer and a star mother would suddenly be the bane of your existence.

I heard that producer E Nivas is tearing his hair all because of a certain Mrs Rao. Now, Mrs Rao is the mother of up and coming actress Amrita Rao and insists on following her daughter EVERYWHERE!

Needless to say poor E Nivas who is struggling with his not-so-grand budget for My Name is Anthony Gonsalves is at his wits end because of this. As for the older Rao, she feels her daughter is not getting enough prominence and ensures she's on all flights her daughter takes on every promotional tour.

So the next time you laugh at Bindu's character in OSO, spare a thought for the producer.

I totally agree that amrita's mom may be overprotective, but there is nothing wrong in that, she will always beremembered for acting not the promotional tours of a film

Don't be rude or interrupt others who are having a conversation. Ethnic slurs, personal insults and abuses are rather uncool. Criticise, but know where to draw the line. No point putting in personal details or links, we won't publish them. Try and write in English and please, stick to the point!
