It has been said that Subhash Ghai's Black & White is 'inspired' by the 1997 Hollywood masterpiece The Devil's Own starring Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt. The film, if you remember, was a box office grosser. It is said Anil Kapoor has taken on Harrison Ford's role and newcomer Anurag Sinha, has taken on Brad Pitt's in the film.

However, the deviations are many. While Ford plays a cop, Kapoor plays a professor. As in the original, Sinha plays a terrorist, who comes to stay in Kapoor's house as a guest. But as soon as he gets to know about Sinha's identity, he takes the help of cops to kill him. And while the Hollywood classic is rooted in international terrorism, Ghai's film is reportedly inspired by the Afghanistan scenario.

Black & White
also stars Shefali Chhaya and Aditi Sharma. Sukhwinder Singh has composed the music while Ibrahim Ashq is the lyricist. The film is all set for a March 7 release.
