Why is the actress specialising in disturbed characters?

Looks like Kangana Ranaut has taken a liking to playing disturbed characters on screen. And that too the ones inspired by real-life stories. Sample this: In Gangster her character was modeled on Monica Bedi with Shiney Ahuja as Abu Salem. Woh Lamhe was a much-publicised account of Mahesh Bhatt's affair with Parveen Babi. While Life In A Metro saw her as a troubled BPO employee who has to sleep with her married boss to go up the corporate ladder.

And now, according to a morning daily, Madhur Bhandarkar has signed her to play a character similar to one time model Gitanjali Nagpal in his forthcoming film Fashion. Gitanjali had recently made headlines when she was found begging on the streets of Delhi.

How we all know Kangana's real life story has also been far from smooth. An alleged liaison with Aditya Pancholi followed by a messy break-up has made more news than her acting talents.

Wonder who’s next on Ranaut’s list? An Indian version of Britney Spears' life perhaps!

Don't be rude or interrupt others who are having a conversation. Ethnic slurs, personal insults and abuses are rather uncool. Criticise, but know where to draw the line. No point putting in personal details or links, we won't publish them. Try and write in English and please, stick to the point!
