SRK unhappy with his old pal?
It's old news that Viveck Vaswani's Dulha Mil Gaya has been held up for quite sometime because of Shah Rukh Khan. The shooting was supposed to resume after the monsoons because the producer-director wanted to shoot a song with SRK on a boat. But now it's February and there is still no sign of SRK! My reliable source says the Khan is a little unhappy with his ol' pal of the struggling days as he feels Viveck wants to cash in on SRK's popularity. (But wasn't that obvious?) Viveck now wants a full-fledged role from SRK and not just a special appearance.
Considering that SRK has had no release after Om Shanti Om, the actor relented when he was asked to increase his dates from 18 to 33 days to picturise a song. But after that schedule, Viveck pleaded for eight more days to shoot extra scenes to make up for Fardeen's declining popularity at the box-office. Now King Khan was in a fix and started giving excuses to avoid shooting. And rightfully so, for he has not charged a single penny for this film!
Sanjay dude, srk has already returned all the favours others have made on him by signing him when he was a new comer. He has worked with new comer directors (aditya chopra, karan johar, farah khan etc.), new comer actors (heroine of swades, deepika - oso, kajol and shilpa shetty - baazigar, etc).... So i think it's high time srk stops accepting others request for favours and put his reputation at stake....
Lets get the facts ..Shah rukh is king khan today because someone thought of giving him a chance (that was vivek vaswani).. There are so many talented folks out there who don't even get a chance to showcase there talent...No one to look at them ...No one to show what they are capable of etc. Shah rukh got the foot hold in the movie industry because of vivek (let not go with the tv serials debate..There are many tv stars who won't see the big screen). So what's wrong in helping an old pal who is in trouble?
in fact i met vivek at the buzz shortfilm festival and he walked straight through a great talent like me (ha..I missed my shah rukh moment) ..Never mind i will never forget who gets me where i want to go ..So why should the king khan.
