To be held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, the finale is expected to create history this season. On the one hand is David Archuleta, the teen prodigy who sang John Lennon’s Imagine during the semi-finals. On the other is David Cook, the rocker whose soulful rendition of Mariah Carey’s Always Be My Baby and Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean won accolades from the judges and also boosted the 25-year-old’s chances in the competition.

Both men with the first name of David will compete at the finals, while you get to see this year’s Top 12 get together once more before the curtains come down. What’s more, before the votes are revealed, the show will feature some exciting performances and surprise guests.
