During this week: Raghav seeks permission from Sujata’s parents to meet her in private. When he meets her, Raghav declares his love for her and proposes marriage. When Sujata says that she loves him too, he suggests that they go to a temple right away and get married. Sujata very firmly refutes the idea saying that she would never do anything that might make her parents unhappy.
Raghav is obviously upset when Sujata does not agree to his suggestion. He goes away on his bike in a disturbed state and meets with an accident. When Sujata is informed about the crash, she is quite confident that he is trying a play a prank on her and does not take the news seriously.
Once she is convinced of the seriousness of the situation, she rushes to the hospital along with her family. Raghav’s family is also at the hospital and they insist that the wedding should take place immediately. Kulraj and Kulbhushan Kohli are quite stunned to hear this. Not having much of a choice at this point, they reveal the true reason for their refusal to get Sujata married. What is the reason for the Kohlis’ insistence to stop Sujata from getting married?
