Naina (Preity Zinta) is a very serious woman living with her mother, grandmother and sister in the USA. She is generally quite irritated with life as her father had committed suicide while her grandmother treats her mother quite badly. Things change when Aman (Shah Rukh Khan) comes to live in the neighbourhood. She learns to laugh and falls in love with him. But he keeps her at arms’ length and encourages her to get serious with her friend Rohit. The reason for his strange behaviour is brought to light towards the end of the film.

Even if some of the public think that the movie is similar to the Rajesh Khanna flick Anand, we would recommend that it is definitely worth watching with the King Khan playing the lead. The song Pretty Woman has been picturised quite beautifully.

I think u missed out.....Naina's friend rohit is played by saif ali khan...And he is very much a part of this film .
