Aditya is an industrialist who is quite fed up with life both on the professional and personal fronts. He walks away from everything and gets into a train without any destination in mind. There he meets Geet, a beautiful but talkative woman who is on her way home to Bhatinda in Punjab.

Aditya gets extremely irritated with her chatter as she goes on and on about eloping with her boyfriend Anshuman. He leaves the train but it seems as though fate is determined to throw the two together as they keep meeting again and again. Finally they reach Bhatinda and Geet insists that Aditya go home with her.

Once there, her extended family presumes that the two are a couple. After a few days Geet adds to this impression by getting Aditya to leave home along with her right in the middle of the night. This is to mainly keep her family off track as she goes to meet Anshuman. Aditya goes back home with a totally refreshed outlook on life. This shows in his work.

After a few months, her family traces him and come to Mumbai to meet him. They want to know what had happened to Geet. Aditya is shocked as he does not know where she went after they parted ways long ago. Where is Geet? Will Aditya be able to trace her? But then, why does he bother? A cool film to watch on a hot Sunday afternoon.
